Braganca Tiara

Tiara made of arabesques, leaves and flowers, covered with hundreds of diamonds and mounted in gold and silver. The tiara is 12.5 cm high and 50 cm long. It was altered by Empress Amelie and first arrived in Stockholm after Amelie's death in 1873 and its altered.

Queen Josephine's Amethyst Tiara

This set of amethysts was originally owned by Napoleon’s first wife, Empress Joséphine. She left it to her son, Eugène de Beauharnais, whose daughter, Josephine of Leuchtenberg, became queen of Sweden. The younger Josephine brought a treasure trove of her grandmother’s jewels with her to Sweden, including these amethysts tiara.

The Nine Prong Tiara

This impressive tiara is originally Queen Sophie's Diamond Tiara but it's also known as Nine-Ponge Diamond Tiara. It was made for the wife of Swedish King Oscar II. King's wife Queen Sophie was a very influential figure and also called "Sweish Queen Victoria."

This diamond tiara mounted in gold and silver from the middle of the 18th century.

Connaught Tiara

This tiara was brought into Sweden by Princess Margaret of Connaught when she married the future King Gustav Adolf in 1905. It was a wedding present from her parents. It's a diamond-set tiara in the form of loops of forget-me-not flowers secured by bows, from which hang diamond drops. It was made by E. Wolff & Co. and probably supplied by Garrard. Forget-me-nots stand for true love in the language of flowers. The tiara consists of five 5 looping swags of forget-me-not flowers and leaves, each with a detachable hanging pendant, all of which are separated by upright diamond springs on wire springs.The tiara was eventually given to her eldest son Edmund who gave it to his bride Sybilla as a wedding gift. Sybilla it to her son, King Carl Gustav. His wife, Queen Sylvia, now wears it frequently.

Empress Josephine's Cameo Tiara

The color of this historical bridal tiara is very special; it's white: it consists of pearls, heightened with 7 cameo's who depict mythological figures. In the centre there's the crowning of love (mother and child), to where portrait-cameos of a man and a woman aim their sight. On the backside portrait-cameo's are interchanged with a godess who has a putti on her lap (caretaker) and a man with a staff (guard). It was originally owned by Empress Josephine of France and passed into the Swedish royal family via her granddaughter Queen Josephine, born princess of Leuchtenberg.

Crown Princess Margaret's Ruby Tiara

This tiara was a wedding gift to Margaret from her uncle King Edward VI. It's is in the form of graduated heart-shaped elements.

The Leuchtenberg Parure

The main piece is a diamond and sapphire tiara consisting of honeysuckle flowers and leaves, centred with large oval diamonds and topped by seven rectangular cut sapphire clusters. The sapphires can be replaced by pearls. The tiara is part of a parure, consisting of a tiara, necklace, earrings and brooch. The set had been a wedding gift from Napoleon I to his stepson Eugene de Beauharnais.

Queen Josephine of Sweden inherited this set in 1851, upon her mother's death.
